In Reliability History, select the first Application failure and then select ---view tech details --- and the first two or three lines should give the Problem Event Name and Code.
If it doesn't,then select the first red=flagged line and RIGHT click on it to provide the ---report sent ---entry.

I'm trying , but getting a lot of unexpected shutdowns. Here are a few screen shots may not be in order as I try to accomplish something before I crash or freeze. May have a double.

Are the shutdowns sudden and abrupt? -> probably hardware if so.

You need to separate the effects of software, current internal disks and other hardware.

Go back to basics. Work logically.

    a. Boot PC from a live boot disk- does it ever shut down?
    b. Run RAM tests.
    c. Run stress tests when so booted. Any problems?
    d. Remove the internal disks, install Windows on a separate disk. Ran checks. Any problems?

Other possibilities: Power supply; I assume you're not over-clocking.

    Etc.

Yes the shutdowns are sudden. Looking in the reliability report "Windows had an unexpected shutdown"

I left the system running all night. This AM it was still running. I woke it up and the moment I opened a browser it had a blue screen that indicated a service exception. Instead of collecting the information and restarting it remained frozen at 0%.
it took a few restarts to get back to this point.

Checking out a new SSD looks like the Samsung EVO 1TB would be a good purchase.

You need to determine, as I said, whether those shutdowns occur independently of the internal disks.
Many possible causes from PSU to overclocking, overheating to other hardware problems including RAM.

Understood. In my experience intermittent problems are the hardest to troubleshoot.

I have been doing work for a non profit, but later today I am going to remove everything from my system blow it out with compressed air and reassemble. After that I'll try a new hard drive. Can you suggest a good memory test app for my RAM?

I "kinda" wish It would just hard fail and let me go at it!

    Understandable.
I'm no expert on RAM tests but you can start here:
    MemTest86+ - Test RAM

Bear in mind that RAM can fail on a pattern-dependent basis. Problems can also be caused by having mismatched RAM modules or incompatible ones.

Occasionally problems can be solved by cleaning and carefully reseating things (with due care not to get dust where it shouldn't).

You can also perform stress tests e.g.
Prime95 - Stress Test Your CPU
    FurMark - GPU Stress Test

A good starting point is to boot your system from a live boot disk, with the internal drives removed.

In a workshop setting you could substitute items of course... but at home, options are limited.

I'm not going to say anything that might jink my progress, but here is a snip of my reliability history so far.

I'm still not certain things are ok, but over 24 hours ago I did have a system freeze while trying to move my mouse. I occurred to me that after I had "blown out " the system chassis and reseated some connections that maybe I should have run the chkdsk again to correct anything that might have been corrupted from before I hooked everything back up.. Chkdsk did find and fix some issues, and since then rock solid. So far ~33 hours and the system has been stable. I appreciate all of you chiming in with help. Fingers crossed!

If it was me I would do the following.

    1. Install Windows 10 PE on my USB, it should have
    A. Malewarebytes or some other virus tool,
    B. Marcium reflect ( or whatever backup tool
    C. Run Memtest ( whatever Memory testing tool ).
    2. Boot into the USB to Windows 10 PE edition.
    A. Scan with the anti-virus. Depends what is read because sometimes false reports
    B. Then use whatever backup/copier tool to copy/migrate the OS from the drive to a newer drive,
and load from the newer drive.

It sounds like you got a bad errors going on.

    ......................

Just by reading I could assume three things

    1. What do yo mean by refresh? Restored to factory state?
    2. Do you have a virus scanning tool. I had problems and found out it was a virus. Still cleaning up from it.
    3. 77% does not sound good at all. Sometimes the drive scanner could give false report. If my drive was
%77 I would be like nope.
    4. Memtest might be a thing. I also had a memory problem on this DELL Workstation. It works but running
Memtest on it, makes it freeze depending on the kind of test it was running.
