    Magnifier keeps continuing to increase


    Windows 10.0.19045.4291
    My PC, after getting Windows updates two nights ago, and tonight. I always use Magnifier. It is normally set at 300%. Now, even after restarting my computer. it keeps increasing. I stopped it as 1400%. I cannot see a way to solve this. At the same time, it began opening Microsoft Edge and Cortana over and over again, as well as showing the dialog box for choosing which application to run. Two restarts and powering down seem to have fixed the latter two issues. I need to know how to stop Magnifier for choosing its own setting. Any suggestions? Thanks.

    Hi, I have the same build- just tried the Magnifier- I don't experience an issue.

    I'm wondering if something is generating random clicks somehow...

    You might try a clean boot and see if there's any difference in behaviour.

    If you can't get it to work, there are alternatives you could explore.

    Or you could try uninstalling the recent updates one by one and see if that makes a difference to prove that one has a side-effect.

    Start by doing a System Restore and blocking that update.
    If it continues, do as suggested and do a Clean Boot
