    Remove toolbar scrolling?

Many moons ago (probably Windows 7), I used to be able to set toolbars on my taskbar (Quick Launch, for instance), not to scroll when there were too many items to fit into the vertical desktop space, (with little scroll arrows on which you have to hold the mouse to navigate), but to open the moment you clicked on the toolbar in two (or even more) windows, laterally across the desktop.

Is that possible in Windows 10? I can't see an option in Explorer Options. Any 'hack' to achieve it?

    Thank you.

There's this possibility for adding toolbars:
Add Toolbars to Taskbar in Windows 10

but it doesn't seem quite what you describe..

Hi there. Yes, I can add toolbars OK, it's how they are displayed (in two or more panes rather than scrolling).
