    How To Display Used Disk Space/Free Disk Space Circle In Color

    In Win 7, displaying a disk properties showed free space in one color and the used space in a second color so that one could graphically see the status of the disk's space. Win 10 shows a monochromatic circle, with no graphic difference between used/free space. Can that be changed to have colors reflect the two spaces or is it another Win 10 "improvement" removing a useful Win 7 feature?

    I just chose: View > Details...
    Then you can see all the drives used/free space...

    You could also use Minitools Partition Wizard (free) to see the used/free space...

    @NewW10user -

    Here is a nice, free program that will give you a (color) graphical look at things as well as numeric.

    Download WinDirStat - Windows Directory Statistics

    Enjoy.

    Windirstat is obsolete, not updated for years, and can produce an odd outcome in my experience.

    Wiztree does the same job (tree + cushion map- visual) and is free, maintained and periodically updated.

    The whole ring? (No screenshot from you...).

    I suppose it's always been like that- not something I can recall looking at particularly!

    What colour do you see in the other areas that are blue in mine?

    When I do View -> Details I get just the Total Size & Free Space numbers but I do NOT get the Percent Full bars. How did you get them?

    I'd say change theme, reboot and see it that makes a difference. Then change back to your original saved theme.
