    Data Recovery Options?

Is there software capable of restoring deleted files from an usb drive?
Note; by mistake deleted some files and it just happened a moment ago so those files shouldn't have been overwritten by anything, i tried the chkdisk command and file history but no luck.
Free software would be appriciated, a quick scan of the drive and restore said file is all i need, thank you!

WinfrGUI is a free program for Windows 11 and 10 that helps recover deleted files from your PCs.

    Recuva is a perennial favourite

Whatever you do, DO NOT ADD/INSTALL ANYTHING to the drive until the recovery options are exhausted.

I use Get Data Back. There are two versions, one for FAT32 drives and one for NTFS drives.

    Thanks everyone for the usggestions.

I've tried both recuva and diskdrill, recuva finds the files i want to recover (some photos and videos) but it only partialy restores them instead of fully restore, when i try open one of the photos or videos then windows says file corrupted or compromised.
Why does recuva not fully restore the files?

GetDataBack now has only one version GetDataback Pro. "GetDataBack Pro is the most powerful Data Recovery Software. Lightning fast, for NTFS, FAT, exFAT, EXT, HFS+, and APFS."

And at USD79, it is not free. Free to try before you buy ( to copy the data you have to buy)
