Unknown/accidental reorganisation of File explorer folder contents

Hello, I am requesting advice with a sudden reorganization of a folder of files in Windows 10 IOT LTSC 21H2

I normally have view options set to small or medium icons and during file exploration might choose name or date and depending on what I'm doing either ascending or descending. Nothing fancy.
However, I cannot explain what happened, but I did take a screen shot of the folder of files that appeared a few days ago.

As you can see what looks like alphabetisation has occurred. I have never, never in all my long years seen such a configuration before. I was able to reset view options either restore defaults or reset folders (can't recall now..oops). Anyway It occurred to me that now everything returned to "normal":

How might I achieve a view like the screenshot if I felt adventurous?
