Removing a keyboard that doesn't show up in settings

Hi everybody, Windows 10 Pro 22H2 insists on a second keyboard. How can I get rid of "English (United Kingdom)" if it doesn't show up anywhere? I didn't buy the pc in the UK btw...

    Hello,

You can check to see if it may show up using option three below to remove.

Great tip, thank you! I do have exactly "00000809" (like in the link) except it's the name, not the data - exactly the other way around. Still safe to proceed?

You can export both the Substitutes (step 6) and Preload key (step 7) to a REG file first to serve as a backup to be safe.

Export and Import Registry Keys in Windows

This way, if "00000809" is not the correct one for the language you wanted to remove, you could just merge the REG files to undo.
