Purchased Lenovo X1 Carbon Windows 10 Question

Hey guys,

I had Lenovo X1 Carbon 20BT and now I have upgraded to 20FC. I saw Lenovo Recovery Media on their website and I am downloading the Windows 10 Genuine files but I want to know why its asking for 32GB USB instead of 16GB.

Moreover, I see CRI and IMZ file extension not iso file which I expected. Is it possible to make it iso file to use in future ?

Furthermore, the files will be latest and upgraded of Windows 10 or will it ask to update till August 2022 ?

You can always download the latest iso file for Win 10 if you wish, using the MS media creation tool (Google).

All older builds are alos available by other means.

To consider: why do you need an iso file (or a bootable Win 10 install disk?

- Usually only if you wish to effect certain repairs, or install Windows.

Everything else for typical users is handled by Windows Update.
