Computer Randomly Freezes - I Can't Click on Anything and Must Restart

    Hello

I have been having issues recently with my computer and has now become more prevalent, happing about four times this last hour. It can happen randomly as I am searching or browsing or just when I return and it has been AFK. My computer will continue to work on a browser for example, however it will lose connection to the internet. Then the whole computer will freeze. I will be able to minimize the browser however I will not be able to click on anything on the desktop and the task bar freezes as well. It does not respond to any keyboard prompts and trying to open Task Manager does not seem to work.

I ran sfc /scannow and it found corrupt files, I don't know if that will help the issue at the moment though. I can upload the log if necessary.

Also, the past couple of days I have had issued where I cannot log in on start-up and the computer just loops on that screen for infinity. I am really worried because I do not want to corrupt anything due to the amount of forced restarts that I have to do. If you need anymore information. Please let me know. Thank you!

Did SFC say it had fixed them all? If not, run DISM's RestoreHealth option, then run SFC again.

I'm pretty sure it stated that it fixed them all, although I ran it just in case and it said than SFC did not find any integrity violations. I can post the original log if it's needed.

I'm pretty sure it said that it had fixed them but I ran both commands again to be sure. DISM completed successfully and SFC found no integrity violations.

If we're talking about the laptop in your specs...

Then I would check the temperatures. It may just need the dust blown out of it.
An In-Place Upgrade would fix any Windows issues.

Check Event Viewer and Windows Reliability for any signs of trouble around the time of freezes after you restart the PC.

I would also confirm from PC manufacturer website or update app that BIOS and drivers are up to date.

I have cleaned the fans however the computer was never hot when this problem happened. Most of time I the computer was idling and the computer has never been hot to the touch. I will make sure to keep them checked though.

I have looked at the Event Viewer. Really don't know what much of it means though. Sorry
I have gotten 6 Kernel-Power 41 (63) critical errors, which I presume is just me force restarting the computer and therefore I have ignored those.

The only other errors I have are EventLog 6008 - The previous shutdown was unexpected. Which again is probably me just force restarting and Service Control Manager 7000 - The luafv service failed to start due to the following error - The driver has been blocked from loading.

Again I am sorry for the lack of information. This is all very foreign to me. I had a crash when I booted this morning. I clicked on the screen and my computer beeped a couple times and then when I continued to click the mouse would drop in frames until I stopped clicking. I will try and do an In-Place Upgrade.

Yep, you got nicked with a "critical" for forcing a shutdown.

I have completed a Windows Update and also updated my graphic drivers and the problem still happens. It seems to affect the task bar as when hovered over the cursor turns to the busy setting however the whole computer will freeze and I am unable to do anything.

Try a Clean Boot, if this works, then you can leave it this way or you can add one Startup Item or Service at a time until the computer acts up.
