Yes. As previously stated in my shared link. It only effects me via Event Viewer. In a couple other forums numerous users are getting a BSOD and in particular it's crashing for gamers with this error. It's a known issue. And, to be more accurate - no, the PC doesn't work as expected: Snipping Tool is hosed (broken), replete with DCOM errors; but those are annoyances. I also don't like several of the supposed fancy GUI features. Not to worry. I know how to maneuver around this beast rather well. Still, this is an error and a known issue. It speaks to something amuck in SCEP.

I do not like some of Windows 11 features but that is not a bug, it is a Feature. If the computer is working, and there are no BSOD's I would not worry about the Event Viewer. If you are really concerned do a Windows Reset, or a Clean Install.I also don't like several of the supposed fancy GUI features.
There's an MS Team who has reached out to me via Feedback Hub who is working the issue.

Thanks for you help.
I am posting here rather than a prior thread as I get the same SCEP error showing in event viewer and I think it is the cause of my PC crashing when playing games.
I have checked my hosts file and it is empty( possibly Bitdefender has something to do with this? )
I ran the below commands
netsh winsock reset
netsh int ip reset
ipconfig / release
ipconfig / renew
ipconfig / flushdns
Then the below
Ipconfig /all> 0 & notepad 0
Here are the results from the notepad, if someone could take a look please( I'm just following what I have seen in this post, its all Russian to me, but I hope it helps someone to point out what is causing my PC to crash while gaming ).

The commands in post #16 are for refreshing your internet connection and seeing if there are any issues with that. Your IP config logs shows you are connected without issue.
Disable, better yet, Uninstall BitDefender with the uninstall tool You don't need it as Microsoft Security which comes with Windows 10 works just as well and is free. Then restart the computer. See how that goes.
As for computer crashing during gaming that could be caused by your video card not having the latest driver depending on if it is a BSOD and what the bug check code is or if the computer just restarts, which would mean it's overheating.
Ok I will do the uninstall of Bitdefender
The crashes are not a BSOD and the computer does not restart( GPU seems to fluctuate between 82-83 degree's ). The only indicator I have is the Event Viewer error around the time of the crash. I'm not saying that I know this is the problem, only that I am aware of no other issue around the time. What happens is my game screen freezes I can usually alt-tab out of the game screen if I do so right then, after that I can do nothing with my PC, everything is frozen including the cursor which I can usually move a little as I alt-tab out, then no more.

You will have to explain this. A "crash" usually means the computer restarts on it's own or creates a BSOD. What does Crash mean to you?The crashes are not a BSOD and the computer does not restart
Here some other information https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/tro...ror-0x80094800
Also try running a Clean Boot, if this works you can leave it this way or you can add one startup item or service at a time until the error returns then you will know the culprit.
Hi All,
I am getting the very same problem, my machine is crashing and the only thing in the logs is this error.
There is no error on screen the machine just hangs completely. No reset buttons work you basically have to switch off the power.
My problems started when I switched on in bios TPM as I was running the windows 11 checks. I also update my bios on my Asus Crossfire Viii. I dont want to downgrade my bios as it addresses some other issues.
I have tried to switch off the in Bios TPM but to no avail, I have noticed though it thinks TPM is still activated even though I set not in bios. I have just been into TPM and seen appears to be functioning so I can see an option to clear cache and wondering if this will get me back to a steady state, just worried as it talks about backups. I am fully backed up so will clear. I just posting as this I think is part of the issue and my direction of travel. Will let people know if this helps.
I am not sure what else I can do I have run all the standard tools to check my configuration
