    Taskbar icon question

    Under Taskbar>Select which icons appear on the taskbar

    Any way to remove items in the list that are no longer installed?

    I have a couple that are still listed but I have removed them via their perspective uninstallers.

    You should be able to just right click the icon on the Taskbar and choose: "unpin from Taskbar"

    This isn't on the taskbar itself but within Settings>Personalization>Taskbar>Select which icons appear on the taskbar...

    I have (2) items in the list which are not installed anymore but are still listed.

    @udidwht

    In the registry... Go to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\TrayNotify

    On the left side, right click the TrayNotify folder and choose: Export. Name it w/e you want .reg, and save it to the Desktop.

    Then on the right pane, right click the IconStreams and the PastIconStream items, and choose: Delete.
    Then reboot the computer.

    IF anything goes wrong, you can just double click the file we Exported... to Import it again.

    Hi udidwht, I use the following bat from Brink to achieve that, just download it, run it, restart and you are set:
    Reset Notification Area Icons in Windows 10

    Hope this helps
