D:\ is not accessible after win 10 pro install

    Hi

I just did a clean install of win10 pro 64 and D: drive is not accessible. D: is a partition on my operating system disk.

Now I know that I can go to properties/advanced and give myself permissions to access drive D:

What I want to know is why windows doesn`t give me access to D: like it normally does to my other drives and if this properties/advanced/permissions is the only or best way to fix this?

    Regards

    Did you get access ?

And If you don`t want the Recovery partition, you can delete it and add the space to C

Yep, I knew that I could get access that way but I thought that there must be a setting somewhere which caused this.... just wanted to know what it is.

Did you change the userid you login with? That could cause this to happen I believe.
