Computer crashes randomly, need some help

I have a new computer that I use for mapping and 3D rendering, but it keeps on freezing randomly for no apparent reason. It freezes during random times, whether I'm using a heavy software for 3D rendering, or if I'm just simply browsing through the internet!

I've read on the forums it could be due to USBs plugged into the computer. I took everything off except for the keyboard/mouse and it still freezes. It does this at least 2 ~ 4 times a day, and it already corrupted my external SSD because I had to hard reset every time.

    Computer specs:
    Microsoft Windows 10 Pro
    Version 10.0.18363 Build 18363
    AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3960X 24-Core Processor, 3793 Mhz, 24 Core(s)
    TRX40 AORUS PRO wIFI
    128GB RAM
    x64-based PC

I use a LG UltraGear 34" curved screen with the 5K HDMI cable it came with it
    (Wired) Keyboard + mouse - Redragon S101-3

    I have AVG installed

To be honest, I'm using an extension cord to power both my PC and monitor. Could this be the reason for the random freezing?

Any tips or troubleshooting I can do will be greatly appreciated. I already lost a brand new external SSD to these random crashes, and I definitely don't want to damage any thing else.

As it's new, why not RMA it - assuming it's not custom built - is it?

As you probably know, and can read from threads here on freezes (please do) freezes
    - typically have no logs
    - can be due to hardware or software

Basics: is all the RAM correctly specified and compatible? How many RAM sticks do you have? Try removing 1.
Are you overclocking? If so, don't.

Your first task is to separate hardware from software.

    Does it freeze
    - in Safe Mode
    - if you boot it from a live boot disk? You can download and create linux and Windows boot disks replete with utilities some of which may be useful here.

Which hardware tests have you run?
Ram? Disk? Stress tests? - If you can get your PC running consistently e.g. from a live boot disk without freezes you should try these.

Uninstall AVG. Use windows defender default. Overheat? Suspension? Drivers fail. Check which trying to integrate with other. Maybe try memory protection windows defender. Isolate processes.

Thank You for providing your computer specs. If you have a Video Card, please provide the Make and Model#. Have you updated your video driver to the latest?
As stated, if this is a Brand New computer, as you say, Why not send it back to Manufacturer for a Free replacement? You should never have to troubleshoot a brand new device. You have up to 1 year to return it to the manufacturer. Or contact the manufacturers support, it's free for new computer owners.
If you want to continue troubleshooting, Try a Clean Boot, if this works you can keep it this way or add one startup item or service at a time until the computer starts freezing, then you know what the culprit.

Does Reliability History have any entries covering the freezes?
If so,the ---view tech details---lines 1& 2 should provide information for searches.
In the search box, type in ---dxdiag--- and check for entries. Also on the Display page, note the driver version and download from the maker's site only, that or a later version if available.
If you can, then use Display Driver Uninstaller [DDU] in Safe Mode, then install the replacement.
It may be advisable to run---sfc /scannow--- and ---dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth---to clean up any possible file corruption.
