I guess when you've had so many problems happen back to back, like I have, you can't help but be a little paranoid, but in time, all will be well :) All this hard work, now its time for me to have fun.
    Enjoy :)

Hey mate! I appreciate the help and info, I really do but the last thing I want to do is mess around with the BIOS, especially one that is modded. Updating the BIOS is already a procedure that is incredibly scary for me aha, everything is stable right now and playing around with something like that just feels incredibly risky. I mean if i was experiencing some kind of issues and exhausted all my options then I would definetely consider something like that. In any case, I appreciate you trying to help. :)

My SSD and HDD are both hooked up to the red ports, I did this specifically because apparently they are faster transfer ports? That as far as my computer knowledge got me aha.

Honestly as I said, everything is going quite well, I have all my main C drive programs all installed with 80+ gigs to spare so still plenty of space left. To be honest, all that information about accessing the Marvel BIOS and everything is incredibly daunting. I don't wanna fix what ain't broken, so to speak. Especially with Marvel, I tried updating the drivers once and it broke my whole windows. However, I appreciate the info and will refer to it if i ever decide to do something like that. Not sure how incredibly important it is and whether its super worth it as well. :)
What do you mean, scary? It has a dual BIOS with BIOS Switch (pic below) so there's absolutely nothing to be scared about. This in fact is one of those several right answers to "Why ASUS is better?"

The modded BIOS that I linked to includes multiple firmware upgrades. One of the reasons why this is important is that it will enable TRIM support on the Marvell chip.

As for enabling Hyper Duo, what have you got to lose? It is non destructive like I said. This mobo is like a Ferrari. It's a piece of art. People truly are jealous. Pardon my Français. You can't be a pussy your whole life.

lmao, you have no idea what I've been through. I'm honestly so tired of tweaking and tinkering. I just want to enjoy my pc. I thought TRIM was automatically apart of latest windows anyways. Besides I'm going to do a full upgrade sometime soon, maybe when the gtx 4000 or ddr5 ram comes out, I heard it was on the horizon, if my pc survives that long.

Like I said, I appreciate the info and help, if I ever decide to go through with it I will definetely refer back to here, thanks for the links and guide. It's not THAT critical . Playing with a non-official bios is just too risky.

Lmao, what really? Are you joking?

Sorry but I'm taking the pussy route, haven't had a stable pc in months .

Edit: And yes, I will only buy ASUS Mobo's from here on out. This mobo is proof of quality.

    That's not technically materially possible...

It is, and has been that, for a long time. But the Marvell chip does not support it excepting only after you upgrade its firmware, which, by design, is integrated into the BIOS of your mobo. Flashing the BIOS on this mobo is easy as pie.

I have to strongly disagree with that final remark of yours. Among serious hardware enthusiasts, Win-Raid forum is known to be VERY highly reputable for this kind of stuff.

No, I'm not. It's an old mobo alright. But this doesn't mean, that is has been forgotten, by those who know their sh1t.

More often than not, having no stable PC for months is what factually happens to those who take advice from all the various nabbers, who basically are clueless, and whose hobby is to ramble on the internet. Harsh, I know...
Edit: And yes, I will only buy ASUS Mobo's from here on out. This mobo is proof of quality.
It's not just proof of quality. Rather, the quality oozes from it in so many ways, that, by choosing to not update the firmware, you actually hurt its feelings.
