    windows clock sync.

    what's going on with windows clock, I've been trying to adjust it for a long time and it doesn't work.moreover I had to disable sync, because windows tried to sync and couldn't and still delayed the clock between 2 to 3 seconds.

    note: pc is new 2 months of use.

    NTP.br

    b.st1.ntp.br 201.49.148.135
    c.st1.ntp.br 200.186.125.195
    d.st1.ntp.br 200.20.186.76
    a.ntp.br 200.160.0.8 e 2001:12ff::8
    b.ntp.br 200.189.40.8
    c.ntp.br 200.192.232.8
    gps.ntp.br 200.160.7.193 e 2001:12ff:0:7::193

    o que está acontecendo com o relógio do windows, estou tentando ajustar há muito tempo e não funciona.além disso, tive que desabilitar a sincronização, porque o Windows tentou sincronizar e não conseguiu e ainda atrasou o relógio entre 2 a 3 segundos.

    Maybe the server is wrong, you can use Time.is - exact time, any time zone for comparison.
    Either way, it said I had a bad time either, but after running Update Time, it reports OK now.

    Try a time updater, here you can choose time servers.

    Open the BIOS > view time > modify as needed > reboot > check time with time.is

    If there are time problems > find a flash drive that you can format ( > or = 8 GB) > create a bootable Ubuntu flash drive:
    Create a bootable USB stick on Windows | Ubuntu

    Boot the computer using Ubuntu:
    List of PC brands with their corresponding hot-keys

    Open firefox > open time.is

    Compare the earlier time keeping with Windows to Ubuntu > report results with images

    I find the time sync in Windows is quite dumb.

    Few stuffs that I observe:
    1. If the offset is quite significant it won't sync.
    2. Set time zone automatically might not be accurate

    So, what I did:
    1. Usually I change the time manually first and the it will start to sync automatically.
    2. I change the time server to somewhere closeby, the br.pool.ntp.org (for Brazil) might be good enough.
    3. I off the Time Zone detection completely.
    4. I set time via Control Panel, not via Win -> Settings

    Hope that helps.
