    WINDOWS 10 - ERROR 0x8007001F - 0x3000D

When I try to update from windows10 v.2004 to the latest version it gives me this error:
    0x8007001F - 0x3000D

I have about 50 computers with this error. All of these have the user disk in another storage different from the operating system.
Other computers that the user's disk is in the same storage as the operating system are updated correctly.
this is what i modify in regedit:

    Equipo\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList\ProfilesDirectory=d:\users

    Thaks

If the User folder itself - as against the individual files of docs pics etc is moved to a different drive, then the OS drive then what you are experiencing is standard Microsoft Windows practice since at least Vista
    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/pre...ectedfrom=MSDN

    " Warning
Using this setting to redirect folders to a drive other than the system volume blocks upgrades. Using ProfilesDirectory to point to a directory that is not the system volume will block SKU upgrades and upgrades to future versions of Windows. For example if you use Windows Vista Home Premium with ProfilesDirectory set to D:, you will not be able to upgrade to Windows Vista Ultimate or to the next version of Windows. The servicing stack does not handle cross-volume transactions, and it blocks upgrades."

So as you can see - it will not upgrade and IMHO other than moving them all back again and then trying an - repair install - and then the upgrade - I fell reasonably certain that other attempted solutions will fail

Of course as I am sure you know, you could have moved the contents and kept the user folder - on the OS drive
Don't move your Windows user profiles folder to another drive | ZDNet

    PERHAPS this MAY help
Move Users Folder Location in Windows 10

    resolved

In the end it was easier. The only thing I have done has been to modify the regedit parameter to% systemdrive% /users and it has worked. And the profiles of the users have not been damaged.
    Thank you
