    Win 10 laptop keeps freezing during videos


    Every now and then when I'm watching netflix or youtube my laptop freezes, any idea what it could be guys? OS Build 19041.630

    I abit more info is needed.
    Are these pauses or freezes that that lock up your computer completely?
    What is your internet speed and type.

    The laptop freezes completly and I have to hold down the main power switch to restart it.

    My download speed is 59.31 Mbps and my upload speed is 8.7mbps.

    You could open device manager and uninstall the video driver, then reboot. Maybe video related.

    I agree , your internet is more then adequate , so you shouldn't have pauses in the video.
    Besides the video driver, you can check on how much memory is available and in use.
    by running taskman.exe and moving to the performance tab , just click on cpu or memory
    in the first column.

    My CPU is runnung at 16% 1.23Ghz and my Memory is running at 4.0/7.9 GB at 51%.

    open a elevated command prompt

    Open Elevated Command Prompt in Windows 10

    and run sfc /scannow (space after c and before / )

    Could also be an audio driver causing the issue. Do you listen via Bluetooth? Check the manufacturer's site for updated audio and Bluetooth drivers.

    It should download automatically.

    The Hp support site should have the necessary drivers
