    Copy And Paste Question ?

    Hi,

On my Mac, it's very easy to do a COPY of any image, or part of
any image, or most anything showing, by simply holding down
Control-ALT-4 and dragging around what you want to copy..

Can't find anything equivalent on my W10 pc.
    Is there ?

And, is there some program I can download and install that
allows more options, or makes it easier, to do copying and pasting ?

    Thanks.

Have a great Holiday and be safe,
    Bob

I believe this is what you're looking for...

Take a Screen Snip with Snip and Sketch in Windows 10

There is also ShareX, that you might want to play with...

To COPY use CTRL + C.
To PASTE use CTRL + V.

    I hope this helps.

I don't know Mac, so I don't know what you mean by "dragging around".

Do you mean "drawing a rubber-band region"?

You mean capturing whatever that is shown on the display? There are a few methods:

    1. Use the built-in "Snip & Sketch" app. It should be in the start menu.

    2. You can press the "Windows key+Print Screen (PrtSc)" button combination. This will save a screenshot in the "Pictures -> Screenshots" path. You can then edit this image.

    3. You can just press the "Print Screen (PrtSc)" button, then open "Paint" and click on "Paste" (or press Ctrl+V). You can make edits if you want and then save the image.
