    If you mean for how to create a shortcut on the desktop for apps in the Start menu, then you could drag and drop them from the Start menu to the desktop like in option 1 of the tutorial below.

    If you mean for how to add a shortcut to the All Apps list in the Start menu, then you could use an appropriate option in the tutorial below to do so.
