Can't go back to previous version

I just upgraded to 1909, I read that they fixed the problem with search in File Explorer - they didn't it still doesn't work, and now it says "Your pc was updated more than 10 days ago".

I tried 1909 several months ago, did not like the fact that you can't search in File Explorer, so I went back to version 1903, any workarounds for this problem?

    Click run and type services.msc
Scroll down to make sure Windows Search is running and it's properties are set to "automatic".

Thanks. It say Automatic (Delayed start)?

I was able to get it to work, sort of, I had to restart it from Task Manager, but now it requires several clicks to get the results, kinda like going backwards.

If you upgraded to 1909 from 1903 then you can unistall the enablement package that turns on the 1909 features (there are already in 1903, but dormant). If you clean installed 1909 then the enablement package cannot be uninstalled.

If you do need to uninstall Windows 10, version 1909, open your Windows Update settings (Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > View update history), select Uninstall updates, and uninstall the Feature Update to Windows 10 version 1909 via Enablement Package (KB4517245). This will revert the device to Windows 10, version 1903.
