    Fabler2,

    That's a separate thing.

    Here's the tutorial set
Turn Off Windows Suggestions - TenForumsTutorials
Turn Off Windows Welcome Experience - TenForumsTutorials
Turn Off Suggested Content in Settings - TenForumsTutorials

In case somebody suggests looking at How to Disable Get Even More Out of Windows - MajorGeeks, Brink has looked into that and thinks it's wrong [as explained in a post in one of the tutorials].

I don't see this as a big deal. It comes up once in a while, I close it and don't see it again for a long time. If it popped up while I was in the middle of doing something then I'd be very annoyed. As it is it's minor (to me at least).

But it is popping up in the middle of you doing something. It is popping up & preventing completion of the single most vital procedure you ever do, a procedure upon which all else depends.

All for the vanity of some overbearing MS popinjay.

    Hear Hear!
I've always been in the habit of turning on the PC and then going and fixing my coffee. When I come back everything is ready to go.
But wait! We have an important message.......

    TV2,

Coffee??? But I thought you had plenty of tea there.

Or have you let it all get soggy?

    I do!
But I'm a yank. Coffee: drank hot. Tea: Herbal, drank cold. Got 16 flavors.

My wife does the whole teapot, steep on a timer, and little dainty teacups with saucers thing.
I microwave my Earl Grey in a mug. Bwwwahahahahahahaah.

My behaviour is equally shocking. I make a pot of Earl Grey but then drink it in "pint" mugs. The "pint" being an American one, 16 fl oz. I should be ashamed of myself.

    Hi,
    Thanks for the warning.
MS well they are what they are mostly tone deaf as far as what they deem useful.

Yes, and now that they are working from home there will be no chance someone can look over their shoulder and say "No - no, that is a dumb idea".

I am seeing this annoying screen about once a month. I got one of them yesterday. Extremely unpleasant. I am not a MS basher, and actually kind of like MS, but whoever came up with this stupid way of annoying customers should be fired. This is MS doing sort of like the ransomware bad guys telling us to either pay or get used to the screen. And is worst than that. Probably there are many people around the world that ends up messing their computers when they play with the registry trying to stop the screen from being displayed.
