How to prevent Windows 10 64 bit from unexpectedly shut off computer?

I would be interested in knowing how to prevent Windows 10 Home 64 bit from suddenly shutting off the computer automatically and ALL by itself.

The temperature of the CPU oscillates between 44 and 48 degrees Celsius.

The settings are as follows:
Laptop has the original batteries (5 yrs old) BUT they are not discharging as they the Laptop acts as if it was a Desktop as the power cord is plugged into the wall.
So battery is always fully charged at 100%.

Power setting at "Best Performance" level,

In Windows 7 -until a month ago when I upgraded to Windows 10- Laptop never showed this behaviour.

Is this a new problem, or has this shutdown been happening for as long as you've had the device?

Does the shutdown happen at regular intervals? Or always after some specific action or event?

Is there anything in the Event Log indicating a cause for the shutdown? If there is no logged reason for shutdown you could have a hardware problem causing a crash that prevents Windows from logging the even record. (I had that happen for years in a desktop. I gradually replaced parts until all that was left of the original PC was the case and an internal HDD. Replacing the motherboard fixed the problem.)

In your Control Panel > System > Advanced systen settings > Startup and Recovery, do you have "Automatic restart" selected? If so, you may be skipping over a BSOD display which could give you more information.
