Automatic Repair - Your PC did not start correctly
For the past 2 days my wife's laptop has been giving the "Your PC did not start correctly" error. Choosing "Restart" has always worked ... so far.
The most obvious recent change: I upgraded the laptop from 1903 to 1909 last Friday, but there were at least 4 unproblematic boots after the upgrade before this error started happening. "sfc /scannow" reports no integrity errors.
There is one obvious driver problem. "Insyde Airplane Mode HID mini-driver" shows an error in Device Manager. I'm pretty certain this is a long standing error because I remember trying to find a solution a couple years ago. A search today showed the same thing as past searches - symptoms that don't match our symptoms (we have none) and solutions involving downloading a driver from other than the vendor (which I don't trust.) Anyway, I have no idea if this is related to the "did not start correctly" problem, and I'm reluctant to mess with something I don't understand.
Any suggestions for fixing this?
