Hope to get some help. Me Old guy 82. Can't see like I did, hear much and now understand on a 8th grade level (my 11yo granddaughter makes my surfing look like a baby). So hello. Be gentle/.
Welcome to Ten Forums BigJohn. We are always gentle. The simplest way is to start a new thread in the General Support section. There is a big button at the top of the section "Post New Thread" Give the thread a title and describe your problem in as much detail as you can. Someone will be along to help you sort it out. If the admins think the thread would be better in another section they will move it for you.

Welcome, Big John3, a fellow Marylander! Similar Life Criteria! We're gentle, like Keith said. No choice, can't move any faster. Post away in General Support and we'll see what we can do for you. (Think steamed crabs..........)

Welcome. I'm only a couple years younger than you.

A couple of things that will help, one is to give more information in My Computer like Kado897 has done. The other is when asked for the Version use this example:

    Welcome Jacquesc

Look in the Software and Apps section of forum. The is a pinned thread "ShowKeyPlus"

You really don't need your key. If you re-install Windows on a machine with a valid license MS will just activate software for you.

Hello I am a new Windows 10 user having stuck with W7 back when it all started, seems way back now eh!
I am a senior - 81 yrs old - so although used computers via phone since 70's and MOSDOS - self taught and learned heaps from the Windows 7 folk who go out of their way and are always on the ball.
Seeing as you would have all moved across - this is going to be helpful for those of us who have made the change I am sure.
