    Desktop image size.

I have selected and put on my desktop an image from my pictures folder. The image is too large, what I mean is it show the whole image, it is like looking at a magnified or close-up view. I would like to reduce the size, so that I can see the whole image, however when I go to personalize or display setting, there is no way to change/reduce size of image. I can change icon/font size, but can't find a way to reduce my selected image size. I am running Win. 10. Win. Edge.
    Any advice is appreciated.

Have you tried "choose to fit" in settings under personalization? Then select "fit"

If you mean you have set the picture as your Desktop background, then go to Settings > Personalization > Background.

If you select the fit as 'Stretch' it will fit the picture to your desktop, but depending on the shape of the picture this may stretch (or shrink) it by a different amount horizontally and vertically .

If you'd prefer to preserve the aspect ratio choose 'Fit' which adjusts the picture so the whole of it shows, but may leave a black border at the top/bottom or sides if it's not the same shape as the screen. Choose Fill which enlarges it enough to remove the border, but may miss a little from the top/bottom or sides if the shape is different.

If you need to, you can change the size using 'free' IrfanView - Official Homepage - One of the Most Popular Viewers Worldwide
