No icons in context menu - Recycle bin - file explorer

Can anyone help - this is driving me nuts and I cannot find answer anywhere !

I used to have four icons (shown in photo) when I opened my recycle bin in File Explorer. Suddenly they all disappeared. How do I get them to reappear ?? I am am using Windows 10 Home edition.

    Any advice greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hello Barry, and welcome to Ten Forums.

Just to verify, do you have the ribbon opened? It should open if you click/tap on the Manage "Recycle Bin Tools" tab.

In addition, pressing the Ctrl + F1 keys will toggle to hide/show the ribbon.

    Context menu - Recycle bin

Thanx for your speedy help - but I can't see how to reply on the forum itself so I'll reply to this email.

Ctrl + F1 just produces the toolbar as shown in my photo attached below. I tried a suggestion last week to enable "Manage" but that has gone now as I needed to go back to an earlier restore point after fiddling around trying to fix this. Does the photo give you any clue??

Your screenshot shows the Documents folder opened.

You would need to open the Recycle Bin to see what you wanted in your first post.

    Context toolbar Recycle bin

The view is the same....... attached is photo from Recycle bin. Pressing Ctrl + F1 just toggles the toolbar shown as on/off. I have also tried view/option/folder options etc to check all the various tick boxes but I still cannot get to see the four icons I once had.

Hmm, I'm not sure what would remove the Manage tab like that.

If you like, you could try doing a repair install to see if it may fix this without losing anything.
