Computer is frozen, won't accept input from keyboard or mouse

I turn on the computer, press eject, put DVD into tray.
The DVD whirs very loudly.
Something makes a beep, sometimes followed later by more of the same beep.
When the disc goes in, I don't know what to do next.
A screen saying Biostar 6+ comes up and has has options across the bottom.
I listed them previously in this thread, can't remember them all now.
One is DEL to set up BIOS, and I do that, put CD/DVD drive on top of list.

Reboot, and I don't know if I should leave it alone or use an F key of some kind.
I've tried both.

Something flashes for two seconds saying American .....and a lot of other text that goes too fast to read.

Then a black screen with white letters, a huge amount of Gibberish.
At the bottom of the screen is something I only roughly remember, not the exact words, something about
"To boot ESC"

and then a rapidly moving countdown timer

yet it isn't clear if "to boot" you have to hit ESC BEFORE this reaches zero, or hit ESC AFTER it reaches zero.

i've tried both. both lead to frozen blue logo.

Please try that and state exactly what you see.

With one laptop I have to press f7 after powering up to see a boot menu and select the DVD drive.

You could , of course, try the disk with your Win 7 PC to check it is indeed a bootable disk.

I've made a YouTube video that shows what I am doing.
This is going to take a lot of work. I've never moved a video from phone to youtube before.
As for checking the disk on the Windows 7 machine:
1. I don't know how to do that;
2. I am afraid of somehow damaging the Win7 OS with a Win10 disk.

Just like your problem machine.

If you then have no bootable disk in the drive, your Win 7 PC would boot normally.

Sorry. Your directions are clear, but my fear is too great to do that.
I simply cannot do anything to endanger the one remaining machine.
