    Remotely locked my windows 10 laptop, now I cant unlock it

    I remotely locked my laptop from my microsoft account. I found my laptop again and then ablut 1 hour later it locked (because I sent the request for it to be locked whenever possible). Once it locked I tried to log in with my PIN which showed the following message: "An administrator had restricted sign in. To sign in, make sure your device is connected to the internet, and have your administrator sign in first". The wifi stopped working too. It showed the wifi symbol with the ⚠️ on the corner. I tried selecting a plethora of different connections and then I tried via ethernet (Which I need to occasionally restart my laptop so that it works temporarily) which also yields the same error. Logging in with my microsoft account password (Which I changed twice already) gives me a wrong password message and asks me to reset my password from the microsoft page. The forgot password button doesn't work either.

    (Also my screen is stuck sideways)

    Can you log in to your Microsoft Account and unlock the computer the same way you locked it? But the laptop will have to be connected to the internet.

    Once locked, the device can only be unlocked by entering your Microsoft account password. Do keep in mind that when you unlock your device, you will be forced to reset your Microsoft account password.

    No it just gives me the option to lock it, as if I hadn't locked it. I pressed it anyways.

    I just locked my laptop remotely. Then my laptop unlocked normally with Windows Hello facial recognition. No change of password required.

    @glassyjuice,

    Looks like the only way you are going to unlock your laptop is to connect it to the internet and enter your correct Microsoft Account username and password which needs to be an administrator account on the laptop.

    Oh yeah no I think this is the root problem I am having. I cant seem to get a stable connection to the internet. My ethernet connection seems to last very little before it goes out (The little ⚠️) and I have to restart the laptop. All my computers work fine.

    Yeah no the problem im having now is that my laptop is refusing to have a stable connection. It constantly goes out, and gets the ⚠️Label And i have to keep restarting it. I cant seem to make it work even though every other computer on the network works fine.
