Windows driver verifier will stress drivers.
Misbehaving drivers should cause BSOD.
The tool must be turned off.
The Ten Forums link has commands to turn off or recover from using the tool.
When back on the desktop:
a) run V2 and upload results into this thread
b) post a share link for C:\windows\memory.dmp if the file size is < 1.5 GB
After fixing a misbehaving driver the tool needs to be restarted to find the next misbehaving driver.
While using the tool there may be a decrease in computer performance and slow boots.
Anything can be performed on the computer while using the tool as long as you plan for a crash.
The 48 hours is the testing time for finding most BSOD.
The extra 36 hours is for the misbehaving drivers that do not appear as soon a the tool is activated and appear while the computer is in typical use.
Start with 3 customized tests in the TF link.
Once there are no BSOD and no performance or boot problems, increase the number of customized tests by 3 - 5 /hour so that there are approximately 19 customized tests as per the Microsoft link.
