    Explorer.exe keeps crashing

    Hello.
When I booted my PC today, I noticed explorer.exe didn't load, so I had to start it from the task manager.
Then it crashed while I was browsing my files. Later on, it crashed twice withing 5 or 6 minutes.
So i looked it up in event viewer, and it had this in it:
    Code:

I also looked it up in Reliability Monitor, and it had this:
    Explorer.exe keeps crashing-2019-09-06_16-38-39.png
The warning was just a failed Windows update, which has been upated now.

Do you guys know, how to stop explorer.exe from crashing, since it's really annoying?

Also, if you need more information, let me know what you need.

Hi, to check for the effect of (most) 3rd party programs:
    - please check if this happens after a clean boot.
    - if so, please download Shellexview (free), make sure all MS extensions are hidden, and disable all others and check again.

    If this still happens, recheck
    a. in Safe Mode
    b. after creating a new user for test purposes and logging in as that user.

Are you using Open Shell - free start menu?

I note that the event viewer says: Faulting application name: explorer.exe, version: 10.0.18362.267

18362.267 was the build for cumulative update for 1903 issued on July 26, 2019. You appear not to have had the August 'Patch Tuesday' update yet, that should have automatically installed by now.

    I've installed it now.
I'll see if it causes any troubles from now on.
