Can you tell us the name of the folder you are trying to delete?

The folder is named 'bin'. It is in a Downloads folder on the 'C' Drive. I assume it was created and named automatically by Windows Media Creation Tool but am not 100% sure on that.

Using either TreeSize or Windirstat, expand the folder BIN, and post a pic of what you can see. You have 37GB+ of application extensions (.dll files) which is abnormal. Thanks.

The bin folder contains Windows 10 backup files. How many levels do you want me to expand?

Just enough to see some of the file names, dates, sizes.

Execute following command to see you can delete the folder.

    Code:
    ICACLS %UserProfile%Downloads\Bin /reset /T

It may not be in his personal Downloads folder, it may be in Software Distribution. That's why I wanted to see the expanded pic.

This user account m_han is me but I don't find this in user account profiles. I am using MS to sign in but perhaps need to change to a local user profile?

Try to delete the folder from Safe mode.

You can also boot your computer with Hiren’s BootCD and from Mini Windows XP delete the folder.

    Download | Hiren's BootCD PE
