Download Folder View is mess up

I want my download folder view default. How to change it? Now it looks like this.

tried already. cannot make the default view

I need this view. But on my download folder tried already view tab still its not the same. And it has annoying letters on-top of the folder

Click View, select List

That lets you choose the Layout (yours looks to be 'medium-sized icons' at present).

But that's not the whole story, yours is also grouped by name currently. Click View then click 'Group by' and select (none).

all i want is how to remove that arrangement numbers and letters ontop of the folder or file

This circle how to remove it. tried all option in view tab but no success

Do you have the update to 1903 yet? When you do you'll need to remember this tip, you'll find the new 'default' for Downloads is 'Group by Date'

So i just updated my Win10 to 1903.... After doing so i have date separators in my downloads folder that i can't get rid off. it's driving me crazy...
