    StartMenuExperienceHost error

Hi. I originally posted symptoms of "Tile database corrupt" as an issue with my Profile but have since examined the Event Log and Procmon outputs which seems to narrow down my current application error problem. (Winver is Windows 10 Home 1902 (Build 18362.116))

    Faulting Application Name: StartMenuExperienceHost.exe
Faulting Module Name: MrmCoreR.dll, version 10.0.18362.1
    Exception code: 0x
    c0000006
    Faulting Application Path: C:\Windows\SystemApps\Microsoft.Windows.StartMenuExperienceHost_cw5n1h2txyewy\StartMenuExperienceHos t.exe
    Faulting Module Path: C:\Windows\System32\MrmCoreR.dll
    Faulting Package Full Name:
    Microsoft.Windows.StartMenuExperienceHost_10.0.18362.1_neutral_neutral_cw5n1h2txyewy

Procmon filtered on StartMenuExperienceHost.exe has only one Access Denied result after I press the Win key or Start icon:

    High Resolution Date & Time: 29/05/2019 20:56:59.6760590
    Event Class: RegistryOperation:
    RegCreateKeyResult: ACCESS DENIED
    Path: HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell
    FoldersTID: 5744
    Duration: 0.0001771
    Desired Access: All Access

I have run Chkdsk/SFC/DISM and report no errors. ISO refresh and repair was successful. Start Troubleshooter reports a corrupt file database. I have also tried reinstalling the package (Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "C:\Windows\SystemApps\ShellExperienceHost_cw5n1h2txyewy\AppXManifest.xml"})
as well as all tutorials relevant to the Start Menu.

I have also run the Profile and Firewall troubleshooters without error (apart from Sync). I ran the Firewall troubleshooter to test if I could change an app on a whitelist but it failed to open. Its easy to speculate what direction I should try and make a fix but the common error seems to be anything to do with opening an Apps list. I can also confirm that creating another admin user resulted in the Start Menu working but nothing else such as clicking on Apps and Features, etc.

At the moment, I'm successfully running my apps from desktop shortcuts as a workaround.

    Any advice greatly appreciated.
