zbook, I`m assuming you wanted the files in this thread as the upload instructions clearly state nothing but BSOD threads in that forum. Please note this computer is set to hibernate now as this is the only way to avoid an unclean shutdown. Thanks

    Glad you got Ubuntu going.

Please update your spec to include the "7" in your MB model number.

Could you please reset BIOS to defaults.

Is this a new old board, or an older board you had. If an older board I would look at replacing CMOS battery to rule it out.

Please recheck all cables, especially from switches to MB and overall position of MB on mounts.

The link in post #24 did not have a dump file that could be opened.
    It displayed an error message.
Please zip the file instead of everything link.

For the chkdsk report please post a copy and paste using notepad.

    The same links were re-posted.

See if you can find the file using windows:
Click file explorer > this PC > C: > in the right upper corner search for the file > zip > post a share link into the thread using one drive, drop box, or google drive.

For entries in the event viewer you can highlight the report then copy and paste using control + C > notepad > post a share link into the thread

When available please run the BETA log collector and post a new zip into this thread.

    Hello @ramblin,

I just had my desktop automatically power on a few seconds after shut down.

For me, it turned out that a build update had enabled allowing my network adapter to wake the computer. Disabling this stopped it from auto powering up.
