Anybody actually using Windows Pro 10 for Workstations? If so, why?
Is anybody here actually using Pro 10 for Workstations? Did you pay for it? Why are you using it?

I'm running Windows 10 Pro for Workstations, but I didn't pay for it. I got it as part of my MSDN subscription from my Windows Insider MVP award.
It has a few more features (ex: ReFS, SMB Direct) over Pro that I like.

I'm running Win 10 Pro as a workstation and I paid for it. Or rather, I paid for Win 7 Home, paid for an upgrade to Pro, and then did the free upgrade to Win 10 Pro.
But I'm not sure what the real question is:
- "using" vs "playing with"?
- "Pro" vs "Home" or "Enterprise"?
- Win 10 vs Win 8 or earlier?
- Workstation vs laptop, gaming console, server, etc?
- "Pay for" vs pirated?
I sense some incredulity in the question but I'm not sure which part you find hard to believe.
If the question id "Why Pro", my answer is "Group Policy Editor" but I could probably find other answers. (I don't really know what I have that isn't available on Home.)
Clintlgm and pokeefe0001,
I should have stated the OP better. Well I paid $137 for the upgrade from Pro with the understanding it would do the things Microsoft advertised here:

I and a couple of others have seen that ReFS/Storage spaces on the Workstations SKU fails quite a few tests for corruption detection, reporting and repair. I hope someone with a Microsoft agreement can open a case. We can no longer do so here without spending a ridiculous amount.
Have you done any testing of ReFS/Storage Spaces with corruption?
Thanks,
Mark
