Partitioned disk hidden in each user

Hi there, I have a laptop with 2 users.

It came with an SSD and an HDD.

I have partitioned the HDD and now it's like there are 2 different drives.

One for one user, and one for the other user.

Is there a way to hide the one that is not for the user?

    Let me explain.

We have u1 and u2 as the two users and d1 and d2 as the two drives.

    u1 owns d1.

    u2 owns d2.

But when u2 is logged in, both drives are obviously visible.

Is there a way that u1 could only see d1 and u2 see just d2?

I don't care about privacy, I just need it so that everything is clear and we don't have mix ups.

    Thanks!

It is easier to dual boot so each user runs their own version, then you can remove drive letter for other person installation. Boot to other users installation, and do the same. If you want to prevent U1 ever accessing u2 partition and vice versa, then have an admin account on each pc which you know the password, and set the two users up as standard accounts - then they cannot access the other users partition without admin rights.

This is way too much work. I would have to do everything twice (setup, programs, etc). And as stated, I don't care about privacy, it's okay if one user sees the content of the other's drive. I would just like to hide the drive from "this pc"

You could set permissions on each drive so only the one user could access it

But the other drive would still be visible to both users. Correct?

They could see the drive in "This PC", but would not be able to open it if you set permissions to "Deny" access to the drive for their account.
