    Using keyboard to type symbols

Can someone tell me how to type the symbol for the Russian Ruble using the keyboard on my laptop ?

I had a list of symbols and icons that one could write years ago but I lost it and can't find it using Google.

    Thanks, Mick

If you have Microsoft Word you can insert it into a blank document and then copy it and paste it into whatever place you are typing. It should only cost you ₽1,000

The ruble is not found in any of the Western Windows Code pages AFAIK but can be approximated with a Strikethrough Capital P P or with the trick above

The rest of the characters are available by Pressing Right-Alt and typing the three letter ASCII code or 0 and the three letter ANSI Code

The actual symbol is available on one of the ANSI Planes No14 and works online for HTML coding - for Cut and paste - ք - the actual appearance will vary with font and size in use

Its unicode number is 8381 so if you have an application that can accept unicode then entering the code will work
