Replace 'Date' with 'Date Modified'

Did you do the whole "Apply To Folders" process?

Open C:\ > View > Options > View > Apply to Folders button

Thanks Edwin, I'll try that, although I really hope there is a solution (registry hack maybe?) that will avoid my having to do this for scores or possibly hundreds of dialogs.

That doesn't work here anyway. I changed it for a specific folder and the first few saves to that folder correctly displayed Date Modified. But it didn't 'stick'. A couple of hours later, another save now shows Date again.

Terry, where are you doing this from? A web browser, a program, all the above?

If I use Firefox and click on File, Save page as, the Date Modified column is shown. Same for File / Open. Can you provide a place I can try so I see what you are seeing?

Edit: Same with IE, Office programs.
