    I couldn't install Quake III: Arena on Windows 10 or 11 from the original CD. However, searching online found a solution.
    To setup Quake III: Arena on Windows 10 or 11:

    1. Install Point Release
    * Run q3pointrelease_132.exe
    2. Overwrite with Quake3e
    * Rename quake3e-vulkan.x64.exe to quake3.exe
    3. Copy file from original CD to baseq3:
    * pak0.pk3
    4. Use key from original CD to activate

    I've got FM2008 playing, it installed but I had to do the following to adjust the graphics. I've been playing it etc for the last 2 weeks.

    1. Go to to the Games Explorer (Games on the start menu or All Programs > Games > Game Explorer).
    2. Find the Football Manager 2008 icon, right click it and choose Customize.
    3. Click Play (Football Manager 2008) to select it, and then click the Edit button.
    4. In the field marked "target" write this "C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\fm.exe" -windowed -small_screen
    5. Click Apply then OK.
    6. Start the game via that shortcut.
    to it.

    Older versions won't work as described.

    I'm going to try and install a few other games now.

    Is there any old original correct versions of games like Galaxian, Breakout, Fathom available anywhere ?

    I had them on an old DOS or windows 95 desktop, the programe was called something like MAME32
