OK thanks essenbe and dude. Now I get it.
From that Steve Burke video on RTX SLI/NV Link he mentions he will have an OC live feed Wednesday (6PM-7PM??) to beat Paul and Jayz scores. He sounds pretty confident LOL.
New FFXV update out today... Includes crossover stuff from Tomb Raider, Terra Side quests, new outfits, bug fixes etc... Google FFXV September update otherwise check it out in game.
WTF is wrong with this game or my machine? Check this out, basically stalling to 20 fps.. This is a new side quest from the update, can someone let me know how they get on with the same quest?
This seems different to a normal fps drop, it's like the frame rate is getting stuck and then undone instead, or a jam in the frame rate. Watch at 0.35 - 0.37 where Noctis looks like he's running backwards, it's like a video is being re-winded.. At the same time the fps drops to 25 fps.

I downloaded that FFXV side quest. Not sure if I will fire it up. The game is fun but I got a bit tired of "pausing" and taking potions, having to get friends to help, etc. Not complaining, just not what I'm use to when playing games.
Well on your OSD I can't see the GPU (purple color numbers), CPU etc. I can see the white FPS numbers. Maybe I can't see OSD as clearly as you as I'm at 1080P.
No matter. That's a pretty heavy action scene. My guess is there is zero, nada, nothing wrong with your hardware. I experience drops in FFXV as well. This is a title originally releases as console only. When the Windows/PC version came out in collaboration with Nvidia I don't think the main objective was to present a highly optimized PC game. I think the intent was to feature full blown Game Works and my experience with that (GRW, etc) is there will typically be stutters and frame drops. The question on a title by title basis is how much.
