Anyway, I went out on a challenge level mission with some guys online the other day and we were doing the manhunt control points. I have to say we rolled through them barely dying.

It was one of those "agent needs backup" calls so I don't remember the crew, but one of them endorsed me, whatever that is. Wouldn't mind running with them again.

Had a blast, although I get too enamored with all the loot we left behind. I was like a kid in a candy story and as such they moved on without me

I tried a mission with a buddy on heroic. We were doing quite well but one of us died and I learnt something about heroic - you die you restart the mission (from the beginning). The weapon drops on heroic were amazing though, most were very high rolled stat gears and I picked up a couple of max (god rolled) gears too.

Is it me or it does seem like they've upped the enemy damage again since the last update?

I warped into one of those heroic gang missions, everyone died then I could not find enough ammo to stay alive.

Only thing I've noticed is the global setting keeps resetting to normal and it's too easy.

The higher the play level the higher the enemy damage and the less damaging your weapons become. You also tend to run out of ammo quicker.

As for upping enemy damage with the last patch, I hadn't noticed it. I still think damage from bosses are lower overall from when the game was first released.

@Hemimax, what do you mean global settings keeps resetting to normal? Mine is set to hard stays there.

Well I blew off Wades helmet in View Point Museum for the field research. I also played on challenging and didn't break too much of a sweat with my Ongoing Directive, Vile mask, Pestilence LMG and chem gun fire build. That build is very strong. Enemies I kill who are status effected (chem gun fire) grant me hollow point bullets. The hollow point bullets apply bleed and the Vile mask will spread both the fire and bleed damage to surrounding enemies. It's very toxic...

I think another rough build I threw together and tested on challenging wasn't working so well. Even with my best builds though I'm kept on my toes in challenging. If I'm caught out or cornered they can wipe my armor in seconds. Most of the time I use my skills to my advantage in not taking damage.

I assume the higher you get your SHD level the stronger you will be in the higher difficulty global levels.

@sygnus21, when I start the game, go to Map > Global Settings, the Difficulty and Directives are always on the lowest settings.

At Map/Global settings can you change the difficulty to hard or challenging? Can you turn directives on?

Yes Matt, normal is just too lame for me.

To change global settings for the entire game....

To change the Global difficulty and add Directives:

• Open your map.
• Hold down the Global Settings button.
• Select the Global Difficulty or Global Directives option.
• Choose the option you want to activate.
• Hold down the Select button to save your changes.
