Begging for help. Automatic Windows update screwed up my program
I have music editing software that simply will not install after the automatic windows 10 update last weekend screwed it up. I was forced to uninstall this program and now I can't get it back up and running. It has been 5 days of torture trying to solve this problem. Here's where it stands now:
I uninstalled the device driver that works with the software. However, when I try to install the most up to date driver I keep getting an error message that I must first remove the older driver. Well I did. I went in to device manager and uninstalled it. But yet I keep getting this message even after several restarts that I must first remove the older driver. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'm losing my mind over this so any help would be greatly appreciated.
