In the meantime, are you familiar with the UEFI aka BIOS?

No sorry. Also I can't find a DVD at the moment. So we might have to wait a little. The media tool thing did finish and I have the drive.

Ok. In the meantime, if you don't have the manual that Ken posted, save it to that folder that you made in Documents to keep.

Start reading 3.1 all about the BIOS. It's actually called a UEFI BIOS, which is an advanced BIOS. You'll want to set it to default.

So the BIOS thing is the boot screen that I can go to before my computer starts.

    If I may...

DENMON it would appear from your specs you have two drives. One an SSD for the OS and programs and a 2TB for .... data?

If all you data is on the 2TB and you are sure, power down the computer and disconnect the data drive. You also have key with media.

Please confirm data is on spinner.

Yes on ASUS you usually enter by repeatedly clicking delete as soon as you power on.

First please confirm data is on spinner and nothing you want to keep is on SSD.

WinKey + X > Device Manager > Expand disk drives > Tell us what you have. We will know if spinner or not. Post screenshot if you like. (WinKey + Print Screen)

Reading over the thread again, we never did get a pic/shot of your system. Please post one. Please do this:

Insert the install thumb you made.
