Too many (100% Free) recovery partitions can't delete any
I run a win7/10(32/64bit) dual boot system with all personal data and install.exe onseparate partition from OS.
About 6 months ago I bought this PC second hand. I like to have a factory reset option on my PCs, Especially if I think I might sell it at a later date. So, I went into the BIOS and set F12 to “Display” on boot. But it would not display. So I started to nose around in the disk manager. I noticed that the recovery partitions all say 100% free. Why there are 3 I have no idea…
Tried Diskpart in elevateg CMD to get rid of the un assigned recovery partitions. But when I run “Rescan” if finishes listing no drives at all.
I have one partition named” New Volume” 49.9 GB. I would like to merge it with the Win32bit parttion but dont know why I cant
Finally, I would like to learn how to make a (PressF12 on boot option)”factory reset if you will”of my own. So I at least have something to fall back on if I ever need to do a full system reset. [But this topic answer is not a priority right now].
