How would I go about correcting this to get the full benefits of my SSD?
How would I go about correcting this to get the full benefits of my SSD?
Here's an easy way to do it:
Make a Macrium image of your SSD (Disk 0 which is your OS - "C" ) to your D data drive. Make sure you have "verify" enabled.
Disconnect Disk 1.
Clean install W10 onto the SSD Drive 0. This will make all the necessary partitions.
Shut down.
Re-connect Disk 1.
Boot to Kyhi's recovery media.
Run Macrium Restore and drag the image from D on to the new C partition of your SSD.
Someone else just successfully did this yesterday:

LOL.. I had a long response I was typing when yours popped up...
I liked your response better.... Easier...
Alright, I'll definitely be doing this. But the partitions on the HDD would still exist, correct? Will that cause any confusion to the system?
once you get the SSD squared away - we can address the no longer needed partitions on the HDD
