So, you mean try unoccupied the slot 3 black and Occupy slot white, in... the nearest white slot to the malfunctioning black...?
Like this so you do green first and then blue. You start with the pairs closest to the CPU and work your way outwards.
Following post describes it correctly. Do blue and then green.
What ever slot is malfunctioning you skip that one and try the one that is closest to the outside of the board.
From the manual:
"For a Single processor configuration, the DIMMs should be loaded first in the black
sockets and then in the white sockets. The DIMMs should be loaded starting with the
socket furthest from the CPU, with the first DIMM loaded in the socket on the right side of
the system and alternating sides of the CPU."
Sometimes it helps to take out a DIMM and put it back. Make sure that the fixing clips are inside
