    USB Not recognised

    Hello

I have a strange problem that one day my w10 dosent recognize one of my usb drives that is ment for transferring movies to TV via USB. It was working fine before.
When i plug the usb in my laptop(also w10) laptop recognizes it, when i plug in my TV it also recognizes it so there is no problem with the drive.

    USB: Kingston dtxm/128gb
    OS: W10 Pro 22h2(19045)

On laptop have tried to format the drive in to NTFS and FAT32 system(so completely clean, formatted drive) but the same - other computers are seeing it, my main computer doesn't. When i plug it in my computer no sound or nothing is showing up in disk management(only my main m.2 drives are showing), also in computer management -> device manager when i plug in, it flashes(refreshes) so it sees some change, but nothing in the sub categories is changing or recognized.

And YES when i plug in different usb(some 16gb, 32gb and 64gb drives) is is showing right away and working fine. So usb controller drivers are working fine. And yes a have tried all the front and back ports on my pc.
I also have tried laptops usbC hub, but the same- different usb stick is showing, this isnt.
All the drivers are the newest.

I have tried all the YouTube tutorials that i can find but they are not working because they mainly are meant if windows is popping up a message that drive is not recognized or smth.

I really dont want to just reinstall windows(as i know that it will 100% fix the problem)

Keep it at FAT32. Use a Ubuntu on USB to see if it will see the drive.

Pop in to Device Manager, click View > Show Hidden devices, now look under Universal Serial Bus Controllers, you'll see some Ghosts in there labelled USB MAss Storage Device, right click and delete each one, reboot without a USB device storage plugged in, wait for the desktop to fully stabalise then plug in your device and see what happens.
