Need help finding this HP (?) specific drivers / Code 32

    Hi,
Few days ago i got HP Convertible X360 14-ba104nw and installed fresh Win19 onit.
I got all the drivers except for 4 device. However i'm not sure I'm missing driver or what as Devices Manager gives me Code 32 that there is some driver that is an alternatuve for device or something.

I woukdn't look for the drivers, but I'm missing vrightness options in Settings and the slider is not working (however I can set brightness using Mobility Center...).

Need help finding this HP (?) specific drivers-drivers.png

triedto look for them, but their hardware id isn't really helpful..
    1st is root/CompositeBus
    2nd is root/umbus
    3rd is ROOT/CAD
    4t is ROOT/NdisVirtualBoot

To be true I'm more curious if it's really the reason I can set brighteness only using Mobility, not the slider (lots easier)... Except that ecerything works fine, including chhosing source of power, what is the 3rd device for.

Have you tried the Software and drivers for HP Pavilion x360 - 14-ba104nw support page?

It offers to detect required drivers for you automatically but also lists all available drivers.

(The link is for GB-EN but, hopefully, will change to what's best for Poland.)

    Hope this helps...

Yes it's SDIO. Didn't see an option for translation of the device names, only apps interface, so I left original Polish names.

Nope. Tried it, but it doesn't find any updates/missing drivers.

If not the brightness, which works, but only through Mobility Center, I wouldn't even bother, as even Device Manager states that this devices are disabled cos another driver is controlling what they do. But than what are they for there?

I'll think about reinstalling Windows, as it's fresh, so not much to do. Maybe 11 will give me more touch-oriented feeling.

Does Device manager display any yellow warning triangles or does it have an Other devices section [which is a euphemism for no driver found]?

Please post a screenshot of every relevant Device manager entry.

Personally, I expect to find [amongst other things] that you need to get another copy of your display driver & reinstall it [reinstall not just check for updates].

I've never seen that. Please post a screenshot of that message that also shows whatever it was that called up that message.

    Best of luck,

Yes, there is ⚠️ for all this 4 devices.
And I'm not home right now, but found that message on Google:

I'll look forward to seeing the details.

    What services have you disabled?
    When did this problem start?

By the way, I do not know where that red diagram of yours came from or what the words mean. I only know what things look like in Device manager and the nearest icons I have to what you show are those in Device manager, System devices [but my icons are not quite the same].
I'm trying to be cautious - I do think those are Device manager, System devices entries. If they are then you can right-click on each one & uninstall each one then let Windows re-detect the hardware and reinstall the drivers properly.

In addition to screenshots like the one I posted that show the warning triangles & the contents of the Other devices section you might be asked to post some of the device properties shown when you double-click on each faulty entry.

You can wait for people to ask for such details for individual items or you can post the whole lot now if you prefer.
My example shows the General tab that contains the Device status.
People might ask to see the Driver tab aswell.
A simple solution might be identified when the problem devices are known.
I commented above about uninstalling them if they are Device manager, System devices entries.
If the problem devices are Intel's then this tool might take care of them all at once - How to Use Intel Driver & Support Assistant, contains download link
At worst, you might need to use Search for drivers by HardwareID - TenForums

And, in addition to all this, I still think you will need to reinstall your display driver. There is no diagnostic test for this being required; I'm just responding to your comments about brightness.

Once the job is done, I'll probably annoy you by urging you to make regular system images.
Once the job is done, I'll probably annoy you by urging you to make driver backups every time you change a driver.

1 As you have not said but need to confirm for yourself, those are entries in Device manager, System devices.

Please note that I know nothing about Hyper-V and nothing about disabling it as you have done.

2 Please tell me how this all came about.

As I said before I thought and installed Win11. It, by itself installed all the drivers and all devices seems to be working, at least in Device Manager doesn't give me any warnings.

Hyper-V is disabled in BIOS. That I know.
