    how to uninstall/disable laptop keyboard

Hi all , hope you can help

for about 2 weeks now ive been trying to uninstall the laptop keyboard and just use the USB keyboard . I generally uninstall it in both device manager and in the control panel . However it doesnt actually uninstall or disable it and when using the usb keyboard to type , the broken laptop keyboard will just start typing the broken letter in continously and not stop . I will then have to go to the device manager and control panel just to find that it has just reinstalled itself. This self install does not happen only on restarting but just at any time it feels like it wants to . Is it possible to totally disable the laptop keyboard . im using windows 10 22H2

The sc config commands in that article should work.

The reason why Device Manger just adds it right back is that it reidentifies the keyboard after system boot. So another way is to disable via the registry, but first follow the SC config commands in that article.

Just to let you know, you can probably buy a replacement keyboard on eBay. But then again, you need to be handy with computer repair.
