    OpenGL driver for my Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti


    I'm using a Win 10 x64 and the driver version 531.79 is installed automatically for my video card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti
    For a GUI program to run properly, the OpenGL driver of the video card should be installed and (enabled).
    In the Manage 3D settings of my NVidia control panel there are lines:
    ...
    OpenGL GDI compatibility Auto
    OpenGL rendering GPU Auto-select
    ...
    Vulkan/OpenGL present method Auto

    The problem is that, that program doesn't show up. Some people say that it may because of the opengl driver.
    How to know that the opengl driver is installed on my Windows/video card and is enabled, please?

    In the Search box,type in---dxdiag ---and check the Display page which should give the driver details in use.
    Note the driver version in use and go to nvidea and see if there is a later version available for installation.
    In any case uninstall the present driver and install the newer one if available,or reinstall the current one.

    It's written Driver Version: 31.0.15.3179

    OpenGL driver for my Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti-3.png

    Should I search for such a version (31.0.15.3179) on nvidia website?

    Nvidia drivers are here:
    https://www.nvidia.com/en-gb/geforce/drivers/

    OpenGL is part of the Nvidia drivers. It is enabled & used by the Applications requiring it.

    The settings in the Nvidia Control panel are best left on Auto.

    I can test for OpenGL simply by using Google Earth Desktop application which can run in either DirectX or OpenGL Graphics modes by selecting the Option > 3D View > Graphics Mode, and restarting the application.

    I have other applications which probably do use OpenGL, but cannot remember which. It's automatic.
